of custom-made nets. In 2013, the company was acquired by La Fine Mouche, a
recognized player in the manufacture of crab and lobster traps, as well as the
sale of products for commercial fishing, owned by the three Desbois brothers.
This acquisition was followed by a merger that preserved the emblematic
Industries Fipec’s name.

Over the years, the company has continued to grow, renovating its two
facilities in Hopetown and Grande-Rivière and diversifying its product
offering, notably with the addition of workwear and sport fishing items. In
2025, Industries Fipec took another step forward by joining the Pronature
Group, adding an essential element to their proposition: offering customers a
