Ice fishing enthusiast

Ice fishing is a wonderful activity to enjoy with your family! Here are some information to be kept in mind to make your experience as enjoyable as possible!

Step 1: Make sure the ice cover on the water is thick enough to move around. Be careful and make sure to check the ice conditions! You can then find a suitable spot and drill a hole in the ice. This can be done with a hand auger, gas or even an electric auger.

Step 2: You will need a rod and reel and a line adapted for cold water (braided).  You can also use the good old method of the brimbal. You will need line for the troll.

Step 3: Don't forget to bring your ice skimmer to remove the ice, it's essential! And don't forget your lures and baits!

 

You will be ready for your ice fishing day! Dress warmly and have fun!
